Our Campsites in the Provence, which neighbours the Cote d'Azur, are close to magnificent examples of Roman architecture including the Roman Amphitheatre in Nimes and the Pont du Gard, an aqueduct built in the 1st Century AD over the River Gard. Other attractions include Cathar castles, with the finest example in Foix. For a fun family day out, Aqualand has a choice of water park locations at St. Cyprien, Port Leucate and Cap d’Agde.
Getting to the Cote d'Azur
The quickest route to the Cote d'Azur from the UK and Ireland is via the international airport at Nice. There are also daily flights from UK airports to Marseilles and Nimes. However, self-drive via the channel ports is a viable option with an overnight stop en route adding to the holiday experience.
