Located
just north of Aix-en-Provence near Cadenet, one of the most beautiful
villages in France, the campsite has a pool plus a large spring water
lake alongside which has been created a super sandy beach. The campsite
is ideal for those who want to explore rural Provence whilst enjoying
the facilities of this four star campsite.
Round and About
Visit historic Aix-en-Provence, often called the city of a thousand fountains,
and discover its Roman and Saracens heritage. The thermal springs were the original
attraction for the Romans and remain an attraction today.
Be sure to visit the
listed site of the feudal castle in Cadenet. Explore the river Durance and in
June and July listen out for ‘Les Cigalles’,
the famous chirping insects who herald the arrival of summer and are an integral
part of Provence folklore.
An excellent day out is a trip to the Gorges du Verdon
where you can canoe or kayak through the famous gorges or just take photos of
the spectacular scenery.
Within the local area you can enjoy a variety of activities
including canoeing / kayaking, horseriding, archery, fishing (on site).
