Who, what, where, when
EuroParcs Brunssummerheide lives up to its name. From the park you can easily step into the hilly heath landscape of the Brunssummerheide. At the same time, cozy cities such as Brunssum, Heerlen and the German Aachen are also nearby. This is the ideal base to discover the Limburg landscape and the Burgundian life.
The Brunssummerheide is just about the backyard of the holiday park. Wander through this typical Limburg hilly landscape by bike or on foot. The varied landscape full of deciduous forests, coniferous forests, heathland and sandy plains is also extremely popular with mountain bikers. Whatever time of year you come, the landscape always looks different thanks to the many shades of purple, green and gray. Besides, there would be no Brunssummerheide without the Schoonebeek sheep. The flock of sheep ensures that the landscape is neatly maintained.
Not only can you enjoy nature in EuroParcs Brunssummerheide, cities such as Aachen, Heerlen and Maastricht are just around the corner. Discover the past by visiting the oldest bathhouse in the Netherlands in the Thermenmuseum or visit Hoensbroek Castle. The Dutch Mining Museum in Heerlen brings back memories of the region's mining past. Not unlike the Monument of Staatsmijn Hendrik in Brunssum, where the deepest mine shaft in the Netherlands was located with
a depth of 1058 meters. It is also fun to spot animals in GaiaZoo in Kerkrade or to whiz down the slopes of SnowWorld in Landgraaf, the largest indoor ski resort in the world. In any case, you will find yourself abroad at EuroParcs Brunssummerheide: not only because of the hilly landscape, but also because of the architectural style of the wooden accommodations.
Parts of the park are quite hilly and are therefore less suitable for people with mobility problems. Be well informed in advance where your accommodation is located.

Frequently asked questions
It is possible to book an early check-in, however, only a limited number of these are available. We recommend booking this on time to guarantee an early check-in opportunity.
Transport to Pinkpop
Have you already thought about how you want to travel to the festival site? From experience from previous years, we know that there is always a lot of demand for taxis and bicycles and that it is often difficult to arrange a means of transport at the last minute. You can book a bus trip via Pinkpop bus trip from the bus stop opposite our park. To do this, enter the zip code 6445 and select Bus Stop Brederostraat (near Aldi parking lot). The advice is to book this bus trip as early as possible.
There is a filter coffee machine in all holiday homes.
We are a low-firework park. No fireworks are allowed in our park, but fireworks are allowed in the residential areas around the park.
Unfortunately, we do not offer a bread delivery service. However, you can buy bread rolls from the Aldi supermarket next door.
Yes, only on gas or with an electric BBQ. Restaurant 'De Uitvlucht' offers various meat packages for the barbecue and gourmet. They also offer the possibility of renting an electric barbecue and gourmet sets. This should both be booked at least a day in advance through the restaurant.
For a 4 and 6-person holiday home, you will receive a key with a barrier pass. A car can then enter the park and park near the accommodation. For an 8, 10 or 12 person holiday home, you will receive two keys, each with a barrier pass. A total of two cars can then be parked in the park and near the holiday home.
It is possible to fish in our park near the swimming pond. However, this is only allowed from the fishing jetty or when the holiday home has its own jetty. However, you should be aware of people swimming.
In periods when blue-green algae is common in the Netherlands, it is of course also possible that it occurs in our swimming pond. The water is checked daily by staff under the watchful eye of WML and samples of the water are taken regularly by WML to monitor the water quality.
When blue-green algae is reported, we issue a negative swimming advice. A yellow or red sign (depending on the severity of the blue-green algae) will be put up to inform guests of the reduced water quality. The sign can be found at the entrance to our beach. Despite our negative swimming advice, people may swim at their own risk. We recommend not getting the water in your mouth and rinsing yourself well after swimming.
