Our holiday park EuroParcs Reestervallei is located in the middle of the vast forests of the Reestdal, at the top of Overijssel. This holiday park is in a special location near the border with Drenthe, a wonderful base to discover the natural surroundings of Drenthe and Overijssel. There is much to experience and discover for young and old at EuroParcs Reestervallei and in the surrounding area!
At the EuroParc Reestervallei holiday park, you can completely relax in the silence of nature. Walk or cycle through the beautiful Reestdal and enjoy the flowery meadows, the waving grain fields and the rippling water of De Reest. Or explore the forests and swamps of the Weerribben-Wieden National Park. It is a 10-minute drive from the park to 'De Zwarte Dennen' playing pond – with its sandy beach, sunbathing areas and children's playground, it is an ideal place to take the little ones. Because the play pond slopes gently, it is ideal for children. From EuroParcs Reestervallei you can easily explore the province of Drenthe in the north or the Veluwe in the south.
There is a lot of culture to discover in the vicinity of EuroParcs Reestervallei. During your stay, a visit to the 'Venice of the North' should not be missed. Get on a boat in Giethoorn and be inspired by this special water village. Also interesting to discover is Staphorst with the Museum Staphorst, where you discover the secrets and background of the village, which sticks faithfully to its own customs. Or of course the Drentse dolmens on the Hunebed Highway (N34) and the Hunebedcentrum in Borger. With the children it is recommended to spend a day at Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen, or Slagharen Amusement Park. And if you want to combine culture with shopping, you can reach the historic, pleasant city of Meppel within a fifteen-minute drive from the park.
