Steyl

This beautiful monastery village in the Limburg countryside became famous mainly because of the monastery. During the monastery walk you will pass all monastery complexes, the monastery gardens and the houses of the former rich merchants. You will also find interesting museums in Steyl, such as the Mission Museum and the Limburg Militia Museum. The botanical garden Jochumhof is also recommended. It is hidden behind old walls and in this oasis of peace you have a fantastic view over the river Maas!
