Ski resorts in Austria

Set off from your accommodation at EuroParcs Pressegger See and EuroParcs Hermagor-Nassfeld , for example, to the beautiful ski resorts of Nassfeld and Weissbriach for a fantastic ski vacation. The ski resorts are just a 15-30 minute drive from the vacation parks in Carinthia.

You can also use regional public transportation for free with your guest card. In fact, at both vacation parks you will receive the WinterCard PREMIUM: with this you can enjoy many activities in the immediate vicinity for free or at a greatly reduced rate.

The slopes and ski areas

Nassfeld is Carinthia's largest ski area, with no less than 110 kilometers of slopes of all difficulty levels. Whether you are just starting out or have years of experience, there is always a route to suit you. The area has 30 modern elevators and 25 cozy ski huts where you can warm up with a hot chocolate or enjoy local specialties.

Thanks to its sunny location in the Carnic Alps and high snow security, Nassfeld is an ideal destination for a winter vacation. Popular downhill runs such as the Carnia, a spectacular 7.6 kilometer long valley run, are highly recommended for those who enjoy a challenge. Families and children are also well catered for here: there are practice meadows, children's slopes and ski schools with Dutch-speaking guidance.

The AlpinSPA at EuroParcs Hermagor-Nassfeld offers a wide range of facilities, including various saunas, infrared cabins, a steam bath and a salt relaxation room. After a relaxing sauna session, unwind in the indoor or outdoor pool where you can swim laps and breathe in the fresh mountain air.

Adventure off the slopes

Anyone who thinks winter sports are all about skiing is wrong. Around Weissensee, there is plenty of variety for anyone looking for something different or just wanting to try something new for a day. Snowboarders can have fun in the fun park, where jumps and tricks come together in a spectacular backdrop of snow. Prefer to go down at a slower pace? Then tobogganing is a fun and surprisingly fast experience for young and old.

For lovers of peace and nature, there are beautiful trails for cross-country skiers. And of course a true classic should not be missed: ice skating on the Weissensee. This frozen mountain lake is known for its beautiful ice rinks and unique atmosphere.
