About Limburg

On the narrowest part of the Netherlands, in the 'green waist of Limburg', lies EuroParcs Limburg. Its direct location on the natural pond makes it a great place to stay. In addition, you can be in both Germany and Belgium within 10 minutes from the holiday park. Around the holiday park awaits the green nature reserve of the IJzerenbos, where you can enjoy cycling and walking.

EuroParcs Limburg is located in the narrowest part of the Netherlands. On one side it borders Germany and on the other side of the Meuse River begins Belgium. From the park you are in no time in the Belgian town of Maasmechelen or in the German city of Aachen. But also in the park you feel something of a foreign atmosphere. A number of houses are built with a nod to the Limburg half-timbered houses and you can go to the eateries for Flemish fries and Limburg vlaai. Prefer your own country? Cities like Roermond and Sittard are nearby! Or visit Thorn, the white pearl of Limburg. One of the attractions at the park is surely the recreational lake. So here at EuroParcs Limburg you will not be bored for a moment!

That Limburg has beautiful nature is no surprise. Around EuroParcs Limburg and the hitoric town of Susteren, you are surrounded by idyllic spots, with the pleasant surprise being the IJzerenbos. Here deciduous forest, grassland and fields alternate. A special inhabitant of the forest is the tree frog. Stroll in Susteren past the old white houses, plop down on the little square on Markstraat and take a look at the impressive St. Amelberga basilica, where the medieval King Swentibold is buried.
