About EuroParcs Texel

Welcome to Texel, the largest and perhaps most beloved Wadden Island in the Netherlands. Here everything revolves around sea, beach, nature and a rich maritime history. As soon as you step off the boat, you feel it: tranquility, space and a casual island feeling that lets you relax immediately. If you are staying at EuroParcs Texel holiday park; then you are in the right place. The park is ideally located: a stone's throw from the extensive beach, where you can get a breath of fresh air, sunbathe or look for shells.

EuroParcs Texel is centrally located on the lovely Wadden Island of Texel and close to its famous sandy beaches. You get there by taking the TESO ferry from Den Helder. Texel has 40 nature reserves of which the Slufter is the best known. The area has an open connection to the North Sea and most of it is a bird nesting and bird resting area. Another bird area is the Waalenburg polder. Texel is a hiking and biking island par excellence. There are not only walking and cycling routes mapped out across the island, but also mountain bike routes. Explore the polders and dunes, the vast moors and forests. Ships depart from Oudeschild for a trip across the Wadden Sea. Sail along to watch seals, board a shrimp boat or take a trip aboard an authentic sailing ship.

On the other hand, Texel is also bursting with friendliness and museums. Meet seals in Ecomare, dive into the past in Oudheidkamer Texel or set course for Kaap Skil and discover treasures from old shipwrecks. Climb the lighthouse in De Cocksdorp and look out over the sea on three sides. De Koog is a cozy town with plenty of stores and eateries, as is the center of Den Burg. Furthermore, Texel is known for its regional products, such as mutton, the Texel wool from which they make quilts and Texel's special beer. During a visit to the Texel Brewery, you can sample plenty of it.
