Wörthersee Plus Card
With the Wörthersee Plus Card, which you receive upon arrival, you can use many activities in the region for free or at a greatly reduced rate. The guest card is valid in the three regions of Lake Wörthersee, Klagenfurt and Central Carinthia.
Our guests enjoy free admission and discounts of up to 50% at excursion destinations around Lake Wörthersee and in Carinthia. For example, rent an e-bike at the Velden Tourist Office and save €7 on the rental fee and discover the unique nature on your bike!
(Rental fee for 24 hours is 35€ per bike without WS-Plus Card and 28€ per bike with WS-Plus Card).
Bread service
Start your day with fresh sandwiches for breakfast. Pass your order the day before and you can pick it up at the reception the next morning.
Private lake access
On hot summer days you can dive into the Wörthersee, which is only a 5-minute walk away. Sunbathe on the sun terrace with parasols and sun loungers. Four-legged friends are also welcome here to frolic in the water. For refreshing drinks you can go to a beach cafe nearby.
Sup rental
Get on your board and paddle over the water. Discover the beautiful surroundings of the park on a supboard!

Klagenfurt is beautifully situated between the Wörthersee and the Karawanken. The capital of Carinthia is the main center of the Alpine Adriatic region and is known as a university town, garden town on Lake Wörthersee and recreation town. Stroll through the Old Town with historic courtyards and passages with numerous bars and boutiques. Well-known sights in Klagenfurt are the Lindwurmbrunnen and the monument to Hercules, the conqueror of the lindworm. The churches, castles and gates in the city are also worth a visit. Be sure to take a look at the markets in Klagenfurt where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and flowers.
