The inner city of Amersfoort is full of cozy squares like the Varkensmarkt, the Hof or the Groenmarkt. The former business area around the old Prodentfabriek was renamed De Nieuwe Stad, a creative incubator with studios and pop podium FLUOR. Of course you must climb the tower of Our Lady and take a look at the Koppelpoort. Wander through medieval streets and along the Muurhuizen, built on the site of the first city wall. In Amersfoort you can also enjoy cozy restaurants, take a boat trip on the canals or walk into one of the museums or theaters.
