3. Luxembourg holidays

Holidays in Luxembourg? Luxembourg may be a small country, but that certainly does not mean it should be skipped in the top five most beautiful holiday destinations in Europe.

The idyllic landscape full of forests, rivers and castles is straight out of a fairy tale. The fact that the country is so small is, in our opinion, a very big plus. From the northernmost point to the south you can drive within an hour and a half.

So you can visit many highlights in a short time from our holiday parks in Luxembourg. How about a ride up in the cable car, with beautiful views of Vianden Castle? And the charming town of Clervaux is certainly not to be missed either.

But for breathtaking nature walks, Luxembourg is the place to be. The Müllerthal region is known for its natural beauty. Here you will also discover a number of caves, including the Hohllay Cave.

Luxembourg's most famous waterfall is the Schiessentümpel waterfall, south of the village of Mullerthal. Also from your holiday home at holiday park EuroParcs Kohnenhof you can walk straight into nature. Grab your walking shoes, cross the bridge and go on an adventure!

4. Holidays in Belgium

Holidays in Belgium? Belgium also has surprisingly beautiful places for your holiday. These are precisely the places where you will find our holiday parks in Belgium. Especially in the north-east, you can wander for miles in a landscape with pine forests, heathlands and lakes.

This is where you will find Belgium's first and only national park, Hoge Kempen National Park. Not only nature fascinates here. At the gateway to this national park is the Terhills minesite, a coal mine that was still in use until a quarter of a century ago.

Just across the border near Maastricht, you will also discover Domein Pietersheim, the remains of an old moated castle. Furthermore, this region is known for a number of unique cycling routes. The 'Cycling through water' cycle route in Bokrijk literally takes you right through a pond.

In spring, the Open Air Museum opens here for a fascinating day of culture. Hasselt is a lively city where you can spend hours with trendy shops, cosy cafés and even a Japanese garden.
