Right by the picturesque Ossiacher See and surrounded by the Carinthian landscape, lies EuroParcs Ossiacher See. You can enjoy the spectacular surroundings here in both summer and winter. Go hiking or cycling in the mountains or take a dip in the cooling waters of Lake Ossiach on hot summer days. And because the park is built in terraces, you have fantastic views of the lake everywhere.

Winter and summer

In the vicinity of EuroParcs Ossiacher See you can enjoy cycling as well as hiking on the many bike and hiking trails. One option is the Alpe Adria Trail, a long-distance walk of 750 kilometres from the Grossglockner in Austria to Muggia in Italy. Several challenging mountain bike routes also start directly behind the park.

On hot summer days, you can cool down with one of the water sports activities on Ossiacher See, ranging from water-skiing to wakeboarding and from fishing to swimming. Paragliding from Gerlitzen is also a possibility, as is a ride on the 760-metre Ossiacher See summer toboggan run. Coming in the cold winter months? Then you can explore the slopes of the surrounding ski resorts.

Picturesque villages and markets

Swap nature for a day of culture and take in the charming city of Villach, which is about a 20-minute drive away. Stroll through the historic centre of the Carinthian town with its pastel-coloured houses and cosy terraces. Around Christmas, Villach is decorated with lights.

Every year in August, Ossiach hosts the arts and crafts market with more than 100 stalls full of artworks such as jewellery and ceramics. You can also enjoy street performers and musicians.
