Arnhem, the capital of Gelderland where greenery is always nearby. And by close, we mean the Veluwezoom and De Hoge Veluwe National Park in the backyard and the many green parks in and around the center. Whoever thinks about Arnhem thinks about Burgers' Zoo and the Open Air Museum. In addition, in the capital of Gelderland you will find numerous catering and entertainment venues on the Varkensstraat and the Korenmarkt. The 5,500 hectare National Park consists of landscapes of forests, heathland, grasslands and sand dunes, which you can explore on one of the free white bicycles. On the Veluwezoom you will come across many impressive estates and castles during your walking or cycling route, for example Landgoed Middachten and Castle Doorwerth.
