Sandwiched between the IJssel Valley, National Park De Hoge Veluwe and the Achterhoek is EuroParcs Marina Strandbad. On the banks of the river IJssel and close to charming Hanseatic cities such as Deventer, Zutphen, Doesburg and Bronkhorst, the oldest town in the Netherlands. Here peace, space and nature come together. The ideal place to enjoy a well-deserved holiday!

If you enjoy being at the helm and being on or in the water, then EuroParcs Marina Strandbad is the place for you. The area is perfect for sporting activities on land or on water. Not only can you sail directly from the park's marina onto the IJssel River, you can also bring your own boat to the park. For shorter trips on the water, canoes and SUPs are available for rent at the park. There are also plenty of great hiking and biking routes in the area.

Culture enthusiasts can also have a great time here. Charming Hanseatic cities like Deventer and Zutphen are easy to reach. Stroll through the streets of Bronkhorst, the smallest town in the Netherlands. Or enjoy the silence of the countryside with its picturesque villages, country houses and farms. This is also the area where imposing castles watch over their surroundings. Like Castle Vorden which is part of the popular cycling route: the 8 castles route. Nearby are two national parks: National Park the Veluwezoom and National Park the Hoge Veluwe, the largest national park in the Netherlands where you overlook heathlands, vast forests and sand drifts. In the middle of the park you will find the Kröller-Müller Museum with the second-largest Van Gogh collection in the world.
