Walk or cycle through the beautiful Reestdal and enjoy the flowery hay fields, the waving grain fields and the rippling water of De Reest. Or explore the forests and marshes of National Park Weerribben-Wieden. A 10-minute drive from the park takes you to playpond De Zwarte Dennen - with its sandy beach, sunbathing areas and children's playground an ideal place to go with the little ones. Because the play pond slopes slowly, it is ideal for children. From EuroParcs Reestervallei, you can easily explore the province of Drenthe in the north or the Veluwe in the south.

In the vicinity of EuroParcs Reestervallei there is also plenty of culture to discover. During your stay, a visit to the "Venice of the North" should not be missed. Hop on a boat in Giethoorn and get inspired by this special water village. Or of course the Drenthe dolmens on the Hunebed Highway (N34) and the Hunebed Center in Borger. With the kids, a day trip to Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen or Slagharen Amusement Park is highly recommended. And if you want to combine culture with shopping, you are within a fifteen-minute drive from the park in the historic, cozy town of Meppel.
