With whom?
EuroParcs Bad MeerSee is located close to endless sandy beaches and in the middle of the beautiful nature reserves of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Here at the cozy village of Nieuwvliet you can celebrate your holiday in Zeeland: with Burgundian dishes and surrounded by space and tranquility.
To say Zeeuws-Vlaanderen is to say a Burgundian lifestyle. Good food, enjoying the sea air and the good life: you will find it all in the Nieuwvliet area. Stroll along the endless beach, take a dip in the water and explore the area on foot or by bike. At EuroParcs Bad Meersee, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of your holiday home in the beautiful countryside and make use of the facilities at the nearby EuroParcs Schoneveld holiday park. Picturesque villages are never far away either. For example, Burgundian Sluis with the only Belfry in the Netherlands or romantic Bruges, just across the border in Belgium. Also the the lively Belgian seaside resort Knokke-Heist is only half an hour's drive away.
Here you are surrounded by areas filled with greenery. Just outside the holiday park you will find a nature reserve with the evocative name 'Verdronken Zwarte Polder'. The Zwarte Polder, which was created in 1623, flooded in 1802 and has never been completely reclaimed since. Thus the 'Verdronken Zwarte Polder' was born, which translates to (Drowned Black Polder). Walking and cycling paths have been laid out through the landscape of dunes, beach and low vegetation, which is the habitat of many bird species. Another bird paradise is Het Zwin, just across the Belgian border. The coastal lagoon with dunes, salt pans and swamps is used as a resting place for migratory birds during their journey south or north.
The park does not have its own reception. We wish you a warm welcome at the reception of the nearby EuroParcs Schoneveld. You can also use the facilities of EuroParcs Schoneveld (such as swimming pool, bicycle rental, etc.).
