From mid-March, the first crocuses, daffodils and hyacinths sprout from the ground and provide the first splashes of colour in the extensive flower fields. By mid-March, the time has finally come - the tulips are in full bloom and can be admired until the beginning of May. You will then find tulip fields everywhere in Holland and other regions of the Netherlands, blooming in every imaginable colour.

Tulip fields & trips in Holland

Especially in the so-called ‘Bollenstreek’, which is located between the cities of Noordwijk, Leiden and Haarlem, you can experience the splendour of tulips in many fields. Here you will find EuroParcs Parc du Soleil, which is located directly opposite a beautiful tulip field, and EuroParcs Noordwijkse Duinen. Both holiday parks are just a 10-minute drive from the famous Keukenhof - the largest tulip park in the world, where you can admire over 7 million flowers.

The most beautiful routes through the tulip fields in Holland

You will find the most tulips in the Noordoostpolder in the province of Flevoland. From the end of April, you can go on wonderful cycle tours through the countless fields of tulip farmers. EuroParcs De IJssel Eilanden is just 20 minutes from the town of Emmeloord, where you can discover huge tulip fields around the town. EuroParcs Veluwemeer and EuroParcs Bad Hoophuizen are also just 45 minutes away from the tulip paradise.

Also popular in this area is Flevoland's Tulip Route. Take your car or bike and admire the tulips scattered through the polder. The ideal accommodation for this route is EuroParcs Zuiderzee, our holiday park in the province of Flevoland.

In North Holland, you will find tulip fields as far as the eye can see, from Amsterdam to the island of Texel. Especially in the north of the province, between Alkmaar and the harbour town of Den Helder, you will find the largest contiguous tulip area in the Netherlands.
