Antwerp
One day is not enough for Antwerp: discover culture, sights and extraordinary architecture. The centuries-old city center showcases the city's rich history. For example, Museum Plantin-Moretus, the museum of the long history of books and printing, is the only museum in the world to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Antwerp has many extraordinary churches and houses of worship, such as the Cathedral of Our Lady and the Church of St. James, all of which can be admired within walking distance of each other. With the kids, it's fun to check out the animals at ZOO Antwerp or go to Belgium's largest chocolate museum, Chocolate Nation. Fancy a Belgian beer tasting or learn all about the world of Antwerp beer brewing? Then drop by Antwerp Brewing Company.
Jewish quarter
Antwerp has one of the four largest Jewish settlements of Charedi (Ultra-Orthodox) Jews who have settled in the Jewish Quarter. In the neighborhood you will find Jewish stores, bakeries for kosher food and synagogues. On a city tour, a guide will take you on a discovery of this neighborhood and tell you all about Jewish traditions and the fascinating history of Antwerp's Jewish community.
Diamond Quarter
Close to Antwerp's central train station and the Jewish Quarter is the Diamond Quarter. The district owes its name to the many diamonds that are traded here. Highly recommended: be sure to visit the Antwerp Diamond Museum (DIVA).

Beach of Saint Anne's
On the left bank of the Scheldt, opposite the port of Antwerp, is the beach of Sint-Anneke or the Sint Annastrand. The city beach takes its name from the former village of Sint-Anna, from the time when the beach and mussels were popular with many Antwerp people who came here by ferry. You are not allowed to swim here, but nearby you will find a miniature golf course, marina and an outdoor swimming pool!
