Vianden

In the middle of the green, woody landscape of the Luxembourg Ardennes you will find the historical town of Vianden. The Our River runs right through the charming town and the boundary between nature and town is barely perceptible here. Visit the gothic churches, stroll through the narrow streets and admire the many monuments that the town is rich in. The real eye-catcher of Vianden is Castle Vianden on top of the hill, which has been in the hands of the family of Orange-Nassau since the 15th century. Glide up the Our valley in the chairlift and enjoy the view of the castle, the valley and the town.

Clervaux

The town of Clervaux lies in a deep, narrow valley on the banks of the Clerve River and is surrounded by enchanting forests. The townscape is reminiscent of a fairy tale with its striking white castle amidst the greenery. Particularly worth visiting is the Clervaux Abbey, where you can admire a beautiful church and browse around in a small abbey shop. If you want to see and know everything about the town, we recommend the 3-hour guided tour of Clervaux. From Clervaux, there are three hiking trails with breathtaking views of the city and the river.
