National Bunker Day Atlantic Wall

Noordwijk

From Zeeland to the Wadden Islands, the bunkers of the Atlantic Wall are open, including those in Noordwijk! During the German occupation, the European coast literally turned into a fortress. During the Second World War, Nazi Germany constructed a 6,200-kilometer-long defensive line: the Atlantic Wall. Countless bunkers, anti-tank barriers, and trenches, built in strategic locations, remain the silent witnesses to this.
