Fun Crew - Always around!

Our Fun Crew is the familiar face of the park, ready 6 days a week with a full programme of fun activities. From creative craft hours and exciting football matches to a cheerful mini-disco. The Fun Crew provides daily fun for the whole family, but focus mainly on ages 4-12. Take a quick look below for the exact dates that our Fun Crew toppers will be present:

Fun Heroes - Spectacular and unique!

Our Fun Heroes are travelling entertainers who come to the park 5 times a week with spectacular and special events. They bring unique experiences that you will certainly not forget. Think of exciting activities such as laser gaming, bubble football, children's shows or, for example, a bat safari. Don't miss these unique moments and join the adventure! Who, what, where, when

This is where you can really relax! That panoramic view of the rippling water, standing with your feet in the water or sailing in a boat is something you will never get enough of. EuroParcs De IJssel Eilanden is located on the banks of Reevemeer on the border of Flevoland and Overijssel. Close to the IJsseldelta and just a ten minute drive from the picturesque Hanseatic city of Kampen. The ideal place to enjoy your holiday!

From the IJssel to the Ketelmeer

EuroParcs De IJssel Eilanden lives up to its name. The holiday park is located right on Reevemeer, the northern part of Drontermeer and close to the IJsseldelta, where the IJssel flows into Ketelmeer. From the park's harbour you can sail straight onto the vast water. Nearby is a junction of waterways: the IJssel, Randmeren, Ketelmeer and IJsselmeer. The perfect place to go on an adventure. The Ketelmeer is not only a paradise for water sports enthusiasts, but also for nature lovers. With its many channels and islands covered with willows, the Ketelmeer is a marsh delta that attracts thousands of birds. Fishing in the area is also good.

Hanseatic cities of Kampen and Zwolle

The area surrounding EuroParcs De IJssel Eilanden is bursting with history. Take a stroll through the narrow streets of the Hanseatic towns of Zwolle and Kampen and you'll think you're back in the Middle Ages. Kampen, for example, owes its nickname "Amsterdam of the Middle Ages" to the time when it was a thriving trading town. Take a look at the Old Council Hall, the Cellebroederspoort and the Nieuwe Toren or stroll along cosy shops and terraces. In Zwolle, the city walls, the Melkmarkt and the Sassenpoort are reminders of the historical past. Stroll through old streets or visit Museum de Fundatie. Book lovers should take a look in Waanders in de Broeren, a bookshop located in a 15th-century church. By the way, you can eat deliciously in Zwolle at De Librije.

EuroParcs De IJssel Eilanden has a PIN-only reception. This means that payment can be made by bank card or credit card. Payment with cash is not possible at our reception.

Frequently asked questions

Is it possible to fish at holiday park EuroParcs de IJssel Eilanden?

You can enjoy fishing on our holiday park without needing a fishing permit.
Outside the park, however, a fishing permit is required. You can order it via the Vispas website or purchase it at 'Dierenspeciaalzaak Boer' in Kampen.
Please note: If you wish to use the lock to the Reevemeer, it is closed from October 15 to April 15.

What kind of fish can you catch at EuroParcs De IJssel Eilanden?

The supply in terms of fish changes every day, as the lock near the park is open. The inland water is connected to the Drontermeer, which flows into the Veluwemeer and IJsselmeer. The fish that swim there also swim with us, think pikeperch and perch*.

*Perch can certainly be caught in the park waters, but zander is not one of the most common fish species in the waters. These are roach, rudd, perch, predatory bleak and bindweed, which you can catch with a simple fixed rod just a few metres in front of the jetty.

Is there a charging point for electric cars on holiday park EuroParcs De IJssel Eilanden?

At EuroParcs De IJssel Eilanden, 4 electric car charging stations are available. Two cars can be charged at one charge point. On the two central car parks at the park, there are two charging stations each. The car should not be charged at the accommodation itself. The car can be charged with a regular charging card (NL/EU).

Which coffee machine is in my booked accommodation?

The accommodation has a filter coffee machine as standard.

Is there a launderette at holiday park EuroParcs De IJssel Eilanden?

There is no washing machine and/or dryer on our holiday park. You can use the launderette at EuroParcs Zuiderzee. You can report to the reception as a guest of EuroParcs De IJssel Eilanden.

May I barbecue at my accommodation and is there a barbecue available?

Gas, electric or coal barbecues are allowed at our park. You can order a complete barbecue package via the EuroParcs app via A-Z BBQ, this includes accessories.

Is there a restaurant and swimming pool at holiday park EuroParcs De IJssel Eilanden?

Our park has a restaurant. The opening hours can be found in the EuroParcs app. Our park does not yet have a swimming pool. We have a partnership with EuroParcs Zuiderzee, which means you can use all the facilities at this park. You can check in at the reception as a guest of EuroParcs De IJssel Eilanden.

Is there a boat ramp at holiday park EuroParcs De IJssel Eilanden?

There is a boat ramp at the park which guests can use free of charge. If you are not a guest of our park, you can make use of the slipway via our reception for € 5.00 per time (per time means € 5.00 for in the water and € 5.00 for out of the water). The boat ramp is located on the first island and you can also park your boat trailer here.

Does holiday park EuroParcs De IJssel Eilanden have a park shop?

Our park has a park shop with a small assortment. In this park shop you can pay by pin at the self-service checkout.
