When is Father's Day?
In the Netherlands, Father's Day is celebrated on the third Sunday in June. In Belgium, it is Father's Day on the second Sunday in June, except in the Antwerp region: there, it is already Father's Day in March. So in 2025, we celebrate Father's Day on Sunday 15 June in the Netherlands and on Sunday 8 June in Belgium. And to make it even more confusing, in Germany they celebrate Vaterdag or Männertag on the Thursday at the same time as Ascension Day. As far as we are concerned, a good excuse to create a Father's Day weekend.
