King's Day 2026 in the Netherlands
King's Day, known as Koningsdag in the Netherlands, is one of the country's biggest celebrations, as it marks the birthday of Dutch King Willem-Alexander on 27 April.
On this public holiday, there are music and dance events, colourful flea markets, festivals and much more all over the country! Of course, the right outfit is a must on this special day: Grab an orange outfit and celebrate King's Day in Holland!
King's Day 2026
Every year, King's Day is celebrated in a different city. In 2023 it was in Rotterdam and in 2024 in Emmen. This cosy city is located in the Dutch province of Drenthe and is definitely worth a visit!
The two holiday parks EuroParcs Ruinen and EuroParcs Reestervallei are only a few minutes away from the city and are the perfect starting point for a visit to Emmen.

Would you rather celebrate King's Day with your friends? Then the 538th Koningsdag festival is well worth a visit. The famous festival takes place on the Chasséveld in Breda and this year 40,000 visitors are expected! As every year, the line-up is a big surprise.
