Saturday, September 19, the heroes of Operation Market Garden will be honored on the Ginkelse Heide. This will be done through various activities that will take place from 09:00. For example, authentic World War II vehicles can be viewed, there is a market and airborne landings will be seen in the drop zone.

At 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, at the CWGC Arnhem Oosterbeek War Cemetery, a great tribute will be paid to the 1,750 Allied soldiers who died during the Battle of Arnhem. Traditionally, "flower children," school children from the municipality of Renkum and surrounding communities, lay flowers at the graves during this commemoration.
